Presbyterian Women (PW) is open to all the women of our church. PW gatherings, special events, retreats, Bible studies, and circle meetings provide opportunities for women to grow in their faith, support the mission of the church worldwide, work for justice and peace, and build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the PC(USA) and witnesses to the promise of God’s kingdom. Presbyterian Women (PW) volunteer talents and time in our church and community and contribute to the PCUSA through an annual mission pledge as well as through contributions to the Thank Offering (including Health Ministries); Christmas Joy Offering (for retired ministers and racial-ethnic colleges); Birthday Offering (annually designated projects); Blessing Box (scholarships); and Least Coin (prayer and ministries of mercy). PW Circles meet second Mondays of the month, September through May, for fellowship, Bible Study and mission projects. The Bible Study for this year—In the Beginning: Perspectives on Genesis—examines familiar stories, often in new ways. South Highland circles meet either in the morning, at noon, or in the evening.
